Imagine walking down the halls of an elementary school. When an entire class passes by, there is an orderly line. Peering into each classroom, one sees students working and teachers teaching. The atmosphere is a tranquil one, conducive to learning.

Is this what you experience at your school?

It is what I experienced for more than two decades as a curriculum director of an elementary school simply because our teachers used the Honorable Character system. Every elementary teacher used this system. Every elementary student knew what to expect. Every elementary parent knew what honorable character his/her child exhibited each week. This system worked. It worked because all the teachers in an entire elementary school got behind the idea speaking encouraging words, and noticing and ‘calling out’ the good they saw in their students.

I highly recommend Honorable Character at your school!
